Emma Foxall of Carp Consultancy has almost 20 years of experience working in equality, diversity and inclusion, strategy and project management.
Her places of work range from large multinational corporations (Tesco, Barclays) to small race equality charities (End Violence and Racism, Olmec) and include consultancy contracts for the Department of Health and NHS England.
Emma’s career has spanned a spectrum of organisations covering many of the characteristics protected by the Equalities Act 2010. These include the LGBT Consortium, Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG), National Children’s Bureau (NCB), Centre for Ageing Better and Sense, the charity for people with complex disabilities, where she worked as Head of Strategy.
Emma has an MPhil from Cambridge University in Development Studies and a 1st class joint honours degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Birmingham. She speaks fluent Spanish and intermediate Portuguese and Japanese.
Emma combines this wealth of professional experience with her personal, lived experience spanning five of the protected characteristics to provide an enriching, unique and insightful journey for your organisation. With professionalism, expertise and empathy she brings people together, working through underlying issues and supporting organisations to be the best they can be.
